Found at Lismore Markets, New South Wales
At $300 for this beautiful platter cover,
all I could afford was a photo, Boo Hoo!!
I really must concentrate on how I take photos so I hide my reflection.LOLThere were two of these vintage (or vintage style?) aprons at $20 each
I really liked them!!!
Note to self: leave hubby at the bonsai stand next time
and slip away to the bank while he's not looking
missed out Boo Hoo again!!!
I have always wanted one of those huge giant silver dome covers but you are right....the real silver hotel ones are way too expensive for me and I have no idea what I would do with it...but I do love them. Nice to meet you. Come for a visit. xo Lynn
ReplyDeleteOh, my! That would have been way over my budget, too! But, what a beautiful thing! And I love the cute apron...not sure I would have passed that up!

Treasure hunting is so much fun, but even more so when hubby stays away and there's money in the pocketbook! LOL

That platter cover is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI don't go to the markets with my husband anymore....it's best he doesn't see what I'm up to!
Don't you just love hunting for treasures?? (without husbands)...lol As much as I love my hubby, I still like to leave him at home when I go to garage sale-ing. I think I would of left that gorgeous silver cover there too - not to worry.., there are plenty more fish in the sea !! Jackie
